ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: Be not decieved, God is not mocked:for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap (Galatians 6:7).

The Lord Jesus,in narrating the parable of the sower,said,”A sower went out to sow his seed…”(Luke 8:5). Then in the eleventh verse,He explained that the seed the sower sowed was the Word of God,letting us know that words are seeds, and that what you sow is what you reap.If you sow the right words into your life and future,they will produce the right harvest. Your words are important;steer your life in God’s direction for you with the right words. Jesus said you shall have what you say (Mark 11:23).You cannot keep speaking negatively and expect to have an excellent life.Proverbs 15:4 says,”A wholesome tongue is a tree of life:but preverseness therein is a breach in the spirit.” A wholesome tongue is one that speaks life,health,righeousness,and abundance. Perverseness,on the other hand,means crookedness; inconsistent and contradictory choice of words that deform and destroy the human spirit! Many unknowingly bruise their spirits when they speak words that are inconsistent with the provisions of the Gospel.This is why you must consistently talk right.Speak forth the blessed Word of God and sustain yourself in the transcendent life. Your life goes in the direction of your words.If your words are excellent,your life will be excellent.Your life today is not an accident; it is the result of all the words that you have been speaking,positive or negative.Create the future you desire! Only speak words that are consistent with the glorious life of righteousness, peace, health,wealth,and joy that God has made available to you in Christ Jesus.

Confession
I have such a beautiful and transcendent life in Christ. I am the expression of God’s glory,grace, wisdom and righteousness .The word of God has produced life in me! I walk in victory always,and live triumphantly to the glory of His Name,Blessed be God.

TOTAL SURRENDER: AN AVENUE OF WORSHIP

ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: Isaiah 43:21 KJV; “This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise.”

Our anchor Scripture reveals that we are formed by God and for God, for the purpose of showing forth His Praise.
This means, having this understanding and allowing God to run or direct the affairs of your life is genuine praise and worship. Genuine praise requires total surrender. It is coming to the point of recognizing that your life and time on earth are not yours.

Many years ago, we used to sing a hymn from the Methodist Hymnbook and SS & S that says;

Take my life and let it be
Consecrated, Lord, to Thee.

Take my moments and my days,
Let them flow in endless praise.

When you come to the point where God owns your life and all that you have, you are offering genuine praise and worship to Him. To praise God is to come to the point of recognizing that your life is consecrated to Him. It is to know and acknowledge that there is nothing you have that is yours but God’s. This is because you were formed by God and for God, and not for yourself or society.

Satan runs the lives of all the people in hellfire. That means to go to hell is to surrender your life to the devil. But in Heaven and on Earth, God runs the lives of all those who submit to Him.

Allowing God to own your life is therefore, an expression of praise and worship to Him.

Beloved, determine to surrender or re-dedicate your life to God afresh as a mark of your genuine praise and worship of Him.

Note this: To praise God is to come to the point of recognizing that your life is consecrated to Him.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for Your Word to me today. I receive the grace to surrender my life totally and unconditionally to You, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

Seasonal greetings to you all! May your heart be strengthened, receive the grace to celebrate your Christmas with absolute joy and with the understanding why you ought to celebrate completely your Christmas with absolute joy,Amen! I enjoin you to be conscious of God ‘s plan because the real celebration begins when you come to understand why Jesus was born.

Jesus Christ is the saviour of the world according to Luke 2:11; And the Bible says in Matthew 1:21,”And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call His name Jesus: for He shall save His people from their sins”.

Jesus Christ is the only one who could save man to the uttermost and make the divine life available and possible for all men to receive. He saved the world by giving His own self as a sacrifice. He paid the full penalty for the sins of all men and took our place of condemnation. That’s why to live without Christ is to live without God,and this is to live in damnation.

The following verses below, when you spiritually read them with meditation for a better understanding, will vividly buttress everything I am saying here . In 2 Corinthians 5:19 NIV; The Bible says,”…… God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them “. Then 2 Corinthians 5:21 says,”For He hath made Him to be sin for us,who knew no sin;that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him”. Therefore, there is no damnation for those who live in Christ.

When Christ was crucified,He became us on the cross. Though God had said,”The soul that sinneth, shall die (spiritual death)…..” Ezekiel 18:20. Furthermore,in Romans 5:12, the Bible says,”Therefore,just as sin entered the world through one man, and death came to all men, because all sinned.” The spiritual death is separation from God. In this process Jesus took our place and experienced that separation from the Father when he hung on the cross. Read again 2 Corinthians 5:19; for a better understanding.

Now, as we celebrate the Christmas,we need to have it in our consciousness, that without the birth of Jesus Christ there wouldn’t have been His death, man’s salvation was consummated when Jesus Christ — the Lamb of God was offered to take away the sins of the world (John 1:29). In other words, the Bible says,in 1 John 4:14,”And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent His son to be the saviour of the world”. You are saved from condemnation,that,causes for the celebration. HAPPY CHRISTMAS!

LAY ASIDE EVERY WEIGHT

Bible Reading: Hebrews 12:1-6

There are weights that are supposed to be laid aside,if you must succeed in attaining your God given potentials and destiny in God.

You have to lay aside pride, jealousy and every encumbrance,trait or character that could limit you from attaining to your God – given potentials and destiny in God. Pride according to the Bible in James 4:6, shows that God resists the proud, but gives more grace to the humble.

Taking instance from Jesus, the Bible says “And being found in fashion as a man he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death,even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name “(Philippians 2:8-9)! Jesus humbled himself to the point of death,even the shameful death on the cross, that He might reconcile men unto God. He was able to win the race he ran.

You too can as well win the race by laying aside pride and every other trait or attitude that is not of God, because such things frustrate the grace of God upon your life. This is the reason you ought to give more attention to studying the Word of God. God’s word will transform you by renewing your mind (Romans 12:2); it will help you lay aside every weight and wash away whatever is not of God from your life (Ephesians 5:26).

REFUSE TO YIELD TO THE CRAVINGS OF THE FLESH.

You have to strengthen and position your spirit to have the mastery over your flesh!

Many people have had one episode or the other. There are people who felt so weak,they could not even utter any words. Some have also described how they had some terrible attacks while sleeping. The felt some evil force pressing them down and choking them, and they tried to shout ” Jesus!” but couldn’t move their mouths. The human spirit during sleep recognized what was going on, but was helpless to get the body to cooperate. So even though their spirit was awake and knew what to say, the spirit could not act because the flesh had the mastery.

This is why you must refuse to yield to the cravings of the flesh and it’s senses by engaging in spiritual exercises. 1 Timothy 4:8 says,”For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come “. You must strengthen and position your spirit to have the mastery over your flesh.

There are spiritual exercises you can engage in as a Christian that will help your spirit. One of them is memorizing the scriptures. Even though the scriptures are meant to be stored in your heart,it is very important that you train your mind to keep and recall them. Another form of exercise is fasting and praying. When you fast and pray, you learn to put your body under. Your body may revolt at first,but do not give in to it.

Remember, everytime you yield to the cravings of your flesh, you have lost another opportunity to bring it under subjection to your spirit. So whenever you have an opportunity for spiritual exercise, do it quickly and gladly. That way, you are taking the flesh and it’s senses and bringing it under subjection to your spirit.

POINTS OF REMARK:

1. Your spirit should be alive to God and sensitive to His leading.

2. Engage in spiritual exercises that will help train your spirit, to strengthen and position your spirit to have the mastery over your flesh.

3. Fasting and praying to put your body under.

4. Seek those things which are above where Christ sits on the right hand of God.

In so many occasion you find some christians who are not enjoying their lives, and they are not sure what the problem is,some point to human enemies as the cause of their misfortune. The will always say,”my enemies must be at work”. You find them grumble. They even start praying against their perceived enemies. This type of christians are in the wrong place and are not living in the Word of God.

Isaiah 54:17; declares that”no weapon formed against you shall prosper”….. So,if the weapons formed against a Christian are prospering,then something is wrong! When the plans of the enemy are actually working against you,it is not because the weapons are too strong, also it is not God that is unable to do something about your situation. The problem is, you are wrongly positioned.

Exodus chapter 12 is the story of the death angel who came to destroy,but the children of Israel were preserved. The Lord said,”…… when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts,the Lord will Passover the door and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you”. (Exodus 12:23). All they needed to do was to stay inside their house. As long as the stayed indoors of the blood – marked house,it didn’t matter the danger outside but they were preserved.

Therefore,stay where you are supposed to be – in the word that is in Christ. That is the environment of safety, preservation and victory. When you live in, and by, the word, you will always be triumphant. The life of victory in Christ is very simple. Jesus said,”Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them,I will liken him unto a wise man,which built his house upon a rock:And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not:for it was founded upon a rock ( Matthew 7: 24-25).

Remark: Make the Word your dwelling place and be doers of the Word and you will always WIN!

Your Mind, Your Agency To Realize Your Dreams

Proverbs 23:4

Whatever your mind can think and believe, you can become!

Majority of people think that the most important requirement for success is money. That is why they go for money,and all their lives, they keep on going for more of it until eventually get frustrated. With that you can not become a success.

Success always begins with a dream. Joseph was a young man who had a dream of success. His brothers envied him for his dream and tried to kill him, and eventually sold him into slavery in Egypt.

In all their attempt they could not kill him. It is hard to kill a man with a dream. Joseph’s dream kept him alive until it eventually came to pass . If you have a dream and you are disciplined enough to pursue it, nothing can ever stop it from coming to pass. The only person that can kill your dream is you.

Your dream in life should not just be about improving your work to be a better place than you met it. To realize your dream you need capital, and by that,it does not necessarily mean money. Money is not the most important capital you need to realize your dream. The first and most vital capital is your mind. That is what determine whether you become a success or not.

Your mind is where earth – shaking ideas are born. Those ideas,if properly harnessed,are more valuable than money. Money is a slave of your ideas. If you nurse your ideas long enough and discipline yourself in the direction of your ideas,money will eventually come looking for you.

It is important what you set your mind upon everyday. Get rid of the wrong stuff that won’t do your mind any good and go for edifying and educative materials that will help you think right. Polish your ideas that is refine them and get ready for a great future.

Remark: When you fill your mind daily with the Word of God, your ideas are polished, your eyes are opened to see opportunities all round you.

God did not approve poverty,yet some people think it is okay to be poor, and that the poorer you are,the closer you are to God. God does not want His children poor. The poor cannot help the poor, neither can the poor take the gospel to the ends of the earth.

The Lord said through the Prophet in Zechariah 1:17,”….My cities through Prosperity shall yet be spread abroad…”, He didn’t say through poverty. Don’t believe in poverty for it is not from God. If God truly saved your soul, which is so important,then He must have made provision to prosper you.

Don’t believe anyone who tells you rich people might have a problem getting to heaven. Moses, Abraham,Isaac,Jacob, David, Solomon and many others in the Bible who walked with God in an extraordinary manner were rich, and are all in heaven. Reading from 1 Samuel 2:8 you see what God does that He “….. Lifts the poor and homeless out of the garage dump and give them places of honour in royal palaces….”

Some people have remained poor only because they inherited it from their minds,not because they were born poor. Poverty is not the state of your birth, neither is it a government – engineered problem or the absence of required necessities.

Rather,it is when a man’s mind and his mental prowess – his flow of disabled. It is the disabling of a man’s mental prowess. That means, you can inherit poverty by thinking the way poor people think. Poverty or wealth is from inside you.

That you don’t have a house or a car does not mean you’re poor. The question is, can you see the house or the car inside you? It is about your mind! If you can see it, you can have it! The fact that you don’t have any money in your bank account does not mean you are poor. Your status in life is not dependent on the amount of money that you touch. How much can you see in your heart?

Success or Prosperity is from inside you. Based on who you are, and what you have on the inside,what ever finances you require would come to you. Never forget that, so work on being, and not on having.

Be Rightly Positioned Through Imaginative Power!

Anchor verse: Matthew 12 ::36-36

In Proverbs 16:29-30, the Bible says,”A violent man….shutteth his eyes to devise froward things: moving his lips he bringeth evil to pass”. It says the evil man shuts his eyes and devises evil,by moving his lips he brings them to pass. In other words,he uses his imagination to devise wickedness, and establishes them with his mouth. It is talking about the principle of meditation and it works both in the positive and in the negative.

God is showing us how the evil mind works and therefore,how good works. Just as an evil man can work this principle and produce results,a good man can also put the principle to work and produce good results . That means you can use your imagination. Just shut your eyes and devise wonderful and glorious things.

Practice this, your Imaginative Power is your creative ability . Every so often,shut your eyes, and meditate . Contrive pictures of great things, the possibilities from the Word of God, and begin to speak them forth. Use this principle to create beautiful life for yourself and those around you .

It is one of the many reasons and benefits of prayer, because when you see those visions,write them down and bring them to pass with your faith filled proclamations.

In Matthew 12:35-36 describe a good man,who out of the abundance of his heart, brings forth good things . All the good things you deserve in life are already inside you . See, and bring them forth with your words. They already exist in the realm of the Spirit, but your words give them tangibility.

Be Rightly Positioned: Consciously See Visions With Your Spirit!

In the Acts of the Apostles (Acts 2:17) reiterated the words of the Prophet Joel in Joel 2:28. When you go through the verse you will notice that the prophet did not say,” God shall show young men Visions,” but God’s Word through the Prophet was,”…… Young men shall see visions…..” This is different from God supremely granting us visions and revelations, realities of the spirit that He unveils to us but in this case we are to consciously,with our spirits,see visions. It is part of the blessings the church is to experience in this last days.

You can actually practice seeing visions that is the vision of your blessed life in Christ which is the visions of your triumphant and victorious life, and walk in the love,power and righteousness of Christ! If visions of fear, death, sickness, poverty and failure come to you, reject them and then switch your mind immediately to the realities of God ‘s word and refocus by reprogramming and realign yourself to see the right visions.

When you practice this, you will be amazed at what God will do in your life. It is actually interesting to note that once you are born again. It is the first He trains you to do. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says,”Therefore if any man in Christ,he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold (see),all things are become new”. The word,”behold ” in the above verse is from a Greek word “idou” which is in Hebrew is the word”kazar”, meaning to look and see with the eyes of a prophet.

The spirit, through the Apostle Paul wants you to see the right vision of who you are in Christ,now that you are born again, you have to see that you have a new life,see that you are a success,see that you are prospering, walking in health, strength and victory. See that you are righteous,holy,perfected in Him, and beloved of Him. See that you are the carrier as well as the effulgence of God’s glory and the dispenser of His grace,mercies and goodness to your world.
